The MPD-A5 is a compact and intelligent Single Phase Motor Protection Device specially designed to protect motors and pumps from electrical faults such as Overload, Dry Run, High Voltage, and Low Voltage.
This model provides accurate monitoring, adjustable protection limits, and user-friendly operation.
It now includes Trip Time Adjustment and Bypass Options for all major protection functions — offering better control, flexibility, and safety.
Digital Display Monitoring
Displays real-time Voltage (V) and Current (A) on a bright digital screen for continuous motor status monitoring.
Over Voltage Protection
When supply voltage exceeds the set limit, the device automatically trips the motor to prevent damage.

Low / Under Voltage Protection
When voltage drops below the minimum safe level, the motor will automatically switch off.

Overload / Over Current Protection
Protects the motor from excessive current or overload by disconnecting the power automatically.

Dry Run / Under Current Protection
Detects low current when the pump runs without load or water (dry condition) and instantly switches off the motor to avoid burning.

Trip Time Adjustable
The delay time before tripping can be adjusted for each protection parameter.
This helps avoid unnecessary tripping due to momentary voltage or current fluctuations.
Auto Set Function
Press and hold the SET key for 3 seconds to activate auto-setting.
The device automatically sets:
Over Current: 25% higher than the running current.
Under Current: 25% lower than the running current.
OFF Time Setting
Allows the user to set the delay time before the motor restarts.
If OFF Time is set to 000, the motor remains continuously ON.
All protection functions (Dry Run, Overload, High Volt, Low Volt) include Bypass Options for testing or manual operation.
Trip Time Adjustable ensures smooth performance and prevents false tripping.
